breathwork
Breathwork is an incredibly powerful healing modality that can facilitate deep emotional, psychological and physical cleansing. A transformational technique that can ignite intense inner exploration, Breathwork can open the client to new possibilities of themselves and who they are in the world.
A breathwork session is an illuminating and often surprising experience. It can help to clarify life purpose, open the practitioner to their personal spirituality in a deeply experiential way, and remove inner obstacles that may be blocking the client.
Breathwork began as an alternative and compliment to traditional psychotherapy. While psychotherapy can be extremely effective, it has also been shown to have some serious limitations. The human brain operates at about five percent conscious awareness. This means that ninety-five percent of what is actually controlling our lives, decisions, perceptions, behaviors, hang-ups and addictions are sub-conscious - literally invisible to us. Therefore, even with the psychological understanding and insight that traditional psychotherapy can facilitate, fundamental changes can remain illusive.
Breathwork brings us to a deeper level of awareness and insight through an altered state of consciousness.
Benefits of breathwork may include:
Relief of Depression
Personal and Spiritual Insight
Decreased Anxiety
Help with Eating or Sleep disorders
Healing in areas that traditional ‘talk’ can’t seem to alleviate
Increased Vitality and Energy
Strengthening of emotional stamina
Release of trauma
Insight into life purpose
Stress Reduction
Increased personal power
Relief from addictions
Breathwork takes about 2 hours. It can be a very intense experience and is not recommended for those who have a history of trauma.
It is my goal that you leave your healing session with clear information and understanding of what has transpired. Further, I will offer specific suggestions that will help you to integrate and deepen the work we have done together.
